First time post

Well this is my first post here. I'm 35 years old I have CF . I was 27 when I was diagnosed, up until then I was told I had Asthma . I was somewhat healthy until I was 32 ,,I moved into a dusty old house that was vacant for 20 years . I started to go down hill from there .I was 33 when I started on O2 . At first oxygen was only at night but that did not last before I knew it Bam 24/7 O2 . I got sicker and sicker . I started going to MGH at first but decided that it was not the place for me so I moved to Brigham and Womans hospital . I did most of my transplant workup at MGH and finished at B&W I was listed for tx 11/26/08 I guess I was pretty sick because I was called in 11/27/08 for transplant surgery . I had first cut at 5:30 ish and out and awake by 8:30 the next day. I was in ICU for 3 days and I left post op on day 10. I was doing great up until New Years eve I got a call from the hospital after my on month bronc they found B1 rejection (small) but I was admitted that Friday I spent three days on nasty high amounts of Prednisone . Now-- I feel good still alittle afected by steroids a little shakey a little achey but I thank God every day for my new lungs and the person who was unselfish enough to donate. This is what I like to call the man version, to the point,I tried to keep to the facts, its my life , the times may not be 100% but this is mostly how it happen .
